whaddup ya'll. i finally have the mood, and time, to blog. and this time, there're pictures! this week was a 'milestone' in my life. i got confirmed on 22/4/07. confirmation is a really important event for catholics as it was one of e 7 sacraments. being confirmed means that we have been officially accepted into the catholic community as adults. so it requires some bit of maturity, eh? initially, i had my doubts. i was quite certain i wouldn't get confirmed due to my dismal attendance. thats why i wisened up and turned up for every lesson this year, admirable, aint it? anyway, i had a fun time preparing myself (spiritually too) and gettin ready. for the whole event, i only bought a new dress as i had mosly all the stuff that i needed. i wanted a soft, gentle look. afterall, confirmation is really impt, the archbishop's gonna confirm u himself! i wanted to look different from how i do in skool, which is ugly of course. i didn't want to look like i was goin for a fashion parade, struttin my stuff (as always). in confirmation, we ought to look pure, not wild or club-like. i spent one+ hours gettin myself ready, which is already quite commendable since i can take a few hours gettin ready for an impt event that requires one to look their best! i didnt style my hair or anything. i merely pinned it sideways like how paris hilton did. so this is how i looked like:

don't i look resplendant and pure and innocent!!! i think i sure do. alright so it took quite awhile before it was my turn to get confirmed. and must i say, everyone looked so gorgeous! gals were in white dresses, some conservative, some sexy and some chanel-ish. guys were all in crisp ironed white shirts and pants and looked much neater from their usual emo-rock style. this was e first time i saw them look suave and hot. and man, there surely were lots of eyecandy. esp. my j. and a. xD. so it was almost finally my turn. my godparents, i don't even think they know that im getting confirmed that day. my 'godma' couldn't make it as well. so my father had to stand in. this really was a very impt moment for me and i wanted every moment to be captured. unfortunately, e cam was in my mom's hands and she's techno-phobic. so even after i beckoned her the umpteenth time to try to take a pic, she gave me that lost look. in a note, she ruined my whole confirmation but i won't elaborate much, or i'll get vulgar? yeah besides that ugly part. i finally got baptised. it felt - revolutionary. quite indescribable, seriously. so after the whole mass was over, it was celebration and socialising time. took some pictures and here are two:

and finally, papa and i, at the grand altar. the flash was abit too much so thats why we looked a bit jaundiced. but i think this picture rox. it just loooks great, the whole thing. so after socializing for seriously, not long. i had to go. i didn't have time to talk/see j. or a. or other of the hot ppl. so i went off. my family and i went to eat sakura buffet to celebrate this joyous occasion.man i could eat prawns! the food was delicious. my papa asked me to take a cuppa ice for him and while i was walkin back, i slipped. in my flowy white dress and chunky wedges. the floor was slippery so i lost my balance and was in the air for about a second. my heart skipped a beat and i thought i was gonna land on my ass or on my face and expose * to everyone. fortunately, i managed to find my footing on the ground. everyone in that area quietened and looked at me. some gasped. and well, it was pretty embarrassing, and so UNGLAM. my papa said it was okay but i could tell he was lying. so pretty obvious. so after that we went to nuh to visit my 'godma'. she's kinda ailing, but i seriously dunno why its like that. get well soon, eh? anyway, on the way home i felt bored and wanted to leave a last memory. so here are my legs, and wedges with my cardigan draped over my calves cos it was cold.

okay this week was pretty boring. but up next it won't be!

next week, i have two parties going on, despite all the exams and stuff. shit.
oh yeah and i really hafta start studying now. no time already. but just can['t seem to. HELP!


anyway, sweet16 is comin soon. so i gotta juggle studies, partying and planning. i need a party planner. so if anyone is adept at that,contact me. need ya help. im really not sure bout this whole thing but hopefully it'll turn out okay. INVITATION CARDS COMIN OUT SOON. LOOK OUT!

hi i am back!

wasn't on hiatus for nth. um welll lemme talk bout what happened these past few weeks while i wasn't bloggin

hmmmm

lasthur- went out with amelia natasha xinying to watch meet the robinsons. quite, seriously, quite boring. haha. the movie i meant

lastfri- went with amelia joey may and amanda for good friday mass. forgot it was 2 hours man. anyway after that, amelia and may, the two crazy gals dared me to ask the pasar malam uncle for straws, as in if i could buy his straws from him. zZzZ

lastsun-went with amanda may and joey for easter sunday mass. after that roamed with may around bedok.

tue- timed practice. skipped it xD

thur- sleepova at xinyang's house. took a taxi from my bus stop to my lobby. e meter didn't jump at all - $2.50

fri - combined skool sports meet. on the way there, i saw my temasek guy. wonder why he was at eunos when he obviously stayed in simei. reached there tres early so we stoned for quite some time. boarded e bus. the thurs and fri was super fattening day. cos all we stuffed our mouth with was chocs, yoghurt, chips and more chips. man. imagine the number of pounds we've gained. so we bought lotsa junk and snacked on it, with the class until prac everyone was so sick with it. luckily we were in the shade. cos from muh mates from other skools, they were practically baked under the hot sun. all my mates had sunburn. hah.luckily i brought my shades and a portable fan. hehe. so. finally after much awaiting for the sports meet to be over, i met shuhannny my best galfriend! we roamed around the sports stadium for awhile, socialising with her friends. man. she sure is popular. everywhere, she spots her friends and all of em are guys. tsk tsk. oh yeah saw sean and andrew. didn't know students can be time-keepers. somemore have jersey. sweet. so after socialising i went with da temasek ppl back to their skool. so i was like, the only chung cheng in e bus and obviously all eyes were on me. but wadeva, temasek ppl are very nice and easy to talk with. so after reachin e skool, we roamed again. and i saw the best thing that happened to planet earth- g*. only one word can describe- WOW. fabuloso. luckily i brought an umbrella anyway. so we went to tampines, ate at cafe cartel-which was awesome cos the new lunch menu was way beta than last time's.made a fool of ourselves at toysrus kissing elmo and playing with plushieswatched sunrise despite several advices from friends not to. it sucked. was boring at the beginning but towards the end my heart went into a sorta rollercoaster. we were numb and shocked and couldn't walk properly after e movie. so after that roamed for awhile den went for tuition. god. i missed e nice times i shared with my best friend. today i sorta relived it. it was so nice.

sat- jogged. last con class. i kinda felt some nostalgia. and oh my, im so relieved that i can be confirmed. cos i wasn't quite positive that i would. 2 ppl in our class couldn't make it. i feel very sad for em. i gotta thank god for givin me this chance. cos last year, i prac. skipped all the classes. but this year i wisened up xD so thank you once again.


mye's gonna come. and im quite positive i'd flunk it, like how i did my common test. just have no motivation to mug. why why why. and oh yeah, why am i flunking all my tests, esp e subjects that im good at? man, this sux.

oh well, apart from that. im gonna get my japanese stuff soon. it arrived this evening! no time to collect it tho. thanks bernie, and, welcome back to singapore, grandma!
